OHT Staffing didn't start as a business plan on paper. As the founder of Oak Harbor Tech LLC — a custom software development and web design firm — Lisa Miller spent years working alongside companies building technology products and digital infrastructure. And no matter the size of the company, no matter the industry, one problem came up again and again: finding and sourcing qualified IT talent was the single biggest bottleneck holding teams back.

Lisa Miller is the founder and CEO of both OHT Staffing and Oak Harbor Tech LLC. With a background rooted in software development, technology consulting, and business operations, Lisa brings a rare combination of technical understanding and business acumen to the staffing industry.

After years of building custom software solutions for clients through Oak Harbor Tech, Lisa saw firsthand how difficult it was for companies to find, evaluate, and hire qualified IT professionals. The problem wasn't a lack of talent — it was a lack of staffing partners who actually understood technology well enough to identify the right people.
OHT Staffing was founded to solve that exact problem. Lisa built the company on the belief that IT staffing should be led by people who speak the language — who understand the difference between a DevOps engineer and a systems administrator, who can evaluate a candidate's technical depth beyond the resume, and who care about long-term fit, not just filling a seat.
